The syndication map — every machine-readable door
Most stores open one door: the homepage. This project opens eight, on purpose. Each door below is a live, standards-based channel that lets readers, aggregators, platforms and AI agents discover the free funnel without the machine ever knocking on anyone’s inbox. Distribution by infrastructure, not by interruption.
· RSS feed (/feed.xml) — Every new page announces itself to feed readers and aggregators the moment it publishes.
· Sitemap (/sitemap.xml) — The full URL map for search engines, regenerated automatically as the machine publishes.
· llms.txt (/llms.txt) — The emerging standard for AI agents: catalog, policies and citable links in plain text.
· Catalog JSON (schema.org) (/api/agents/catalog) — Structured product data for agents and integrations.
· Quotes API (/api/quotes) — Real opening lines with attribution, ready for apps and bots.
· Open dataset (/api/dataset) — CC BY 4.0 numbers: catalog, sales, publishing output.
· oEmbed (/api/oembed) — Rich link previews for platforms that unfurl shared URLs.
· Embeddable widget (/widget.js) — One script tag puts the story of the day on any external site.
How to use the map
Aggregators: subscribe to the feed. Sites: embed the widget. Researchers: pull the dataset. AI assistants: read llms.txt and cite freely. Humans: honestly, just start with any free Part 1 — the doors are for machines so people get better recommendations.
